An Orlando-based investment group that has put money into several local tech startups has been named Florida’s most-active venture capital firm by an analyst of investment trends.

Deepwork Capital, formerly known as FAN Fund, landed on the list, compiled by the industry analyst CB Insights and released this week.

The report is based on investment activity in tech-based companies ever since 2014.

FAN Fund has in the past taken part in a nearly $1 million investment round in a Tampa startup, and has also invested nearly $2 million in the fantasy sports app HypSports in Orlando.

Its website also lists Orlando financial tech darling Fattmerchant as a past investment.

Andreessen Horowitz, a high-profile tech investment firm that has joined funding rounds with Facebook, BuzzFeed and Zynga, also landed on the list.
