The Southeast Tennessee Human Resource Agency (SETHRA) will be distributing USDA commodities to eligible Rhea County residents on Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Army National Guard Armory, located on Manufacturers Road in Dayton.
A commodity card issued by SETHRA is required in order to receive commodities on this day. Call the SETHRA office at 423-775-4010 to make an appointment to receive a card before Friday, May 31, 2017. Proof of income for all household members must be provided in order to receive a commodity card.
Eligibility will be based on total household income not in excess of the State-established maximum percentage of the poverty line for the appropriate household size.
In accordance with Federal law and USDA policy, SETHRA is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
